From September...

We hope that the choir will be continue to meet every Monday evening 7-9pm during school term time and you're really welcome to join us at Wilsford Village Hall. Just drop Christina an email first so she knows to expect you - [email protected]

Do I need to pay to join on a Monday evening? - Come along for free for a couple of weeks and see if you'd like to join the choir. If you do there are choir fees but we try to keep them very affordable. The recommended monthly payment is £20 per month (this is based on approx £6.50 per session spread out over the year) which covers our hall hire costs, music, and admin costs, and also (a lot!) of Christina's time. However, we don't want finances to be an obstacle to anyone joining us so if this is an issue, or if multiple people at the same address wish to join these are flexible, just let us know and we'll help however we can. Community is the most important thing so if you want to join us, we want to help you.

Meet your Musical Director - Christina Oxtoby (BMus Hons)

"Hi, I'm Christina and I LOVE leading choirs - it's a joy and a privilege, and honestly just great fun! I love to see people doing things they never thought they could do, making friends and building community. I love to see the choir become everyone's highlight of their week and to have laughter as a regular part of the rehearsals. Does that mean I don't care about getting the musical best from the choir? Absolutely not... but I'm a great believer that people should have fun whilst learning, and actually that people perform better when they are relaxed and surrounded by people who they know are supporting them.

After being the Musical Director of 8 different choirs over the last 30 years I have really missed having a choir since moving back to South Lincolnshire and my favourite choirs have always been my Gospel Choirs, so... 'South Lincs Sings Gospel' choir is about to be born and I'd love you to be a part of it.

Whether you've always sung as part of a choir, or you've only sung in the car (with no-one listening,) but have always wanted to be brave enough to join a choir, THIS choir is for YOU - I promise!"

Does that sound good to you? Come and join us!
