Price - £45 per handler place (max 6 handler places) 

Details - This is for HTM handlers to get help with anything they are needing help with. There will be no 'lesson plan' for the workshop and it is purely for you to come with a list of thing(s) that you need help to sort out. This could be...

Numbers are strictly limited to make sure there is plenty of time for Christina to individually help each member of the group.

Is My Dog Suitable? - This workshop is suitable for dogs already competing in HTM or about to compete in HTM. 

The day will be arranged as follows - 

The training barn will be split with ring fencing into 2 sections and dogs will work individually - 

  • Training area with music and teaching - approx 16m x 13m
  • Practice area without music or supervision - approx 8m x 10m

The workshop would be divided up as follows -

Example - Dog A will train as follows - 

  • 9:00-9:20am - Main 1-2-1 training session with Christina
  • 10:00-10:20am - Practice session unsupervised
  • 11:15-11:30am - Main 1-2-1 training session with Christina
  • 12:00-12:15pm - Practice session unsupervised
  • 12:45-1:00pm - All handlers come together for debrief and planning

Christina's Experience in Heelwork-to-Music / Canine Freestyle (HTM) - HTM is Christina's speciality, greatest love in working with her own dogs, and also her greatest fun in working with other handlers and their dogs.

  • Twice British Team member for the Open European Championships.
  • 5 x Crufts Finalist (Heelwork & Freestyle)
  • Has competed with her 3 Border Collies, 2 Great Danes, German Shepherd, Basset Hound and Chihuahua X and has worked with countless other dogs and handlers over 20 years ranging from complete beginners to Crufts finalist. 
  • Loves training 'unusual' breeds & reached the Crufts Semi Finals with her lovely Great Dane, Ru. 
  • Advanced HTM KC Judge (Heelwork and Freestyle) 
  • Competed in HTM since 2006. 

(Please note - no female dogs in season and no dogs who may have an infectious / contagious disease will be allowed on site.

Event Dogs refund policy – If you cancel your booking with more than 4 calendar months to go before the event / training session you are entitled to a full refund minus a £10 admin fee. If you cancel with more than 2 calendar months to go you are entitled to a 50% refund minus a £10 admin fee. With less than 2 calendar months to go before your booked event / training session we are sorry but we are unable to offer you a refund, however you are welcome to pass your place on to someone else (we only ask that if it's a handler place their dog is suitable for the event / training session that you have booked.) We do sometimes have waiting lists for events so if you know that you will be unable to attend an event please contact us as soon as possible and if we can help we will.
